Relaxed? What is meditation and why it is important? I cannot believe at my age;
I am just recognizing the importance of just taking a moment & relaxing… People
who meditate are less stressed, healthier, sleep better, and have a more
positive outlook on life. Slowly but surely, I am making my way there! Now, I
understand why my Mother (Sharone Jones) RIP admired the smooth sounds of calm,
chill, relaxation music. Often when we lose someone, we love that was so close
to us, all we can do is just be serene and appreciate only the goodness. Not so
Simply put, meditation makes you a happier person! One of the most important
elements of meditation is focusing on your preparation. The time between
thoughts gradually increases as you meditate which invites the opportunity for
you to consider your thoughts more carefully and, perhaps, rationally. The
physical benefits of meditation include decreased blood pressure and lower
levels of anxiety, as well as an overall healthier immune system. Music can have
a profound effect on both the emotions and the body. Faster music can make you
feel more alert and concentrate better. A slower tempo can quiet your mind and
relax your muscles, making you feel soothed while releasing the stress of the
day. If we search “relaxing music”, we will get thousands of results. However,
does relaxing music relieve stress? The answer is yes. In fact, when you have
two toddlers all you can dive in somedays, are relaxing MUSIC. Concentration.
Stillness. Calm. Chill.
What an amazing thing to be. Here in my presence. This has certainly been one of the most trying years for most. But, here I am able and willing to disregard any negativity or drama filled lifestyle. The sun shining and I woke this morning. Despite any challenge or adversity I believe to try to remain believing. I feel like some of us have really experienced having our back up against the wall. But, when I actually stop and take a moment to look at how far I have come. I refuse to be one of the "Have Nots" especially when my little kids' faces are anticipating nothing but greatness. I know it has been sometime since I was able to make this time to inspire those struggling with depression, etc. I want to be here for you guys. Just to remind you that you are not alone. Keep moving forward, YOU CAN DO THIS!
