One of the most compelling strategies companies use to reach out to parents is to play the role of guilt, says Browning, who knows from experience - as a father of young people - how pressuring it can be to buy a popular product.By affecting parental insecurity or feelings of inadequacy, Browning says, retailers are more open when pushing a product that promises to bring happiness to a child’s life.

"Parents are referred to the idea, 'Your children deserve more,'" Browning said.

Depending on the brand, retailers can incorporate more strategies to attract parental attention, Browning said. Through research methods such as research, focus groups, and individual interviews, advertisers are trying to find out if psychology is behind what will make a parent buy a particular product, he says.

#Create competitive drive growth

Competitions and giving are a great way to market your child and child products while also enhancing your fan base. Contests can be as simple as keeping a monthly drawing of everyone who leaves a comment on your page or post or provides product reviews.
