Sibling Love

  SIBLING LOVE I could not resist but to write about my children and how their love is so bittersweet for one another.   But, when its all said and done, my little ones will bend over backwards for each other.  Literally.   I have a two-year-old who is the epitome of terrible twos.  My daughter is completely different than how my son was, when he was two and how he is now.  I can say that my daughter has some type of dare devil in her blood.   It often scares me at times how she just moves to the beat of her own drum.  All I keep telling myself, is that this shall too pass.  Well, what sticks out to me when I see them ready to pull each other’s hair out.  I recall a recent time, when we were enjoying the weather outside and suddenly, Riley decides she is going to take off.  All I see is WhitJ, running full speed to catch his little sister.  He was determined to prevent he...

  The Importance of Reading to your Kids I can just say that with social media & all the technology out here, it can be easy to forget the importance of a good old-fashion book.    I have made it my business to curl up and read a book with my kids, EVERY night. There are often times that I must remind myself that I set the tone and must lay a sturdy foundation for my future-whatever they want to be kids.    I certainly want my kids to be confident, inspired souls that are ready to take on the world in a educated, respectful manner and with a smile on their faces thinking of their Mother while doing so. I am a firm believer that it is never too late for change or growth.   Reading with your Kids the Benefits The Importance of staying connected with my children is the most relevant thing for me in this day.   The blessing is so essential in this world that we are living in today.   Just like making time to read a book to my babies is super relative to being that foundation that is well needed.   Inspired and motivated is what I strive to implement for my kids to model. But I remember and recognize that it starts with me, inside our home.   The confidence level that our children need in today’s world is by far necessary.   Their well-being is one of the most important things that I must recognize daily.   I want MINE to always know that they can & will make it, if they are determined nothing is unobtainable.   However, it is my job to reinforce reading for my kids because it is so beneficial in the long run!

Homeschooling Pros & Cons

I know for myself, as a Mother of a Kindergartener I had no idea how much fun I was going to have, homeschooling.   After taking him out of Catholic School his first few months as an actual student, I decided I could do this.    How hard could it be?    I started to realize that my child could be playing me and wants me to do all the darn work!   As his coach, I feel like what the heck, the assignments are super hard anyway & I just want to breeze through.    Then, I had to come to realization,  I want my son to be kick ass in every which way, not just while he is picking his favorite You-Tube picks.    I think back to Mommy Dearest and have my son watching the movie now. You Can Reach the Stars!

Despite what you may be going through - remember keep going! Let us not Take for Granted the ones we love!  Often what we give out, we receive right back.  So, regardless to whether you have been married for 1 month or 10 years we should always try to honor those who have our back.  Life as we all know it, is super short.  So why not live life happy! Reach for the stars even in your home life, not just your career.  Some have little ones that are watching us and want to be just like us.   So, why not show them the right way to love.  There are times that I forget, I am my children’s’ role model and should always want more and better for not just myself, but for them. Often, we take for granted our loved ones.  I guess we feel like for some reason, this person will always be there….  But what we fail to realize is that we should respect and honor our loved ones, no matter what.

Kids Stay in Trend

    The challenges of today.. My kids are my world but let me just say that parenting is no joke!  I am ready to pull out all of my hair.  Especially with the toddler girl, testing my patience is her ultimate goal.  I certainly see myself, all over again.  Now, I see what my Mother was talking about. Sheeeesh! It is important to keep children involved with some kind sport or something.  Or the child will drive you or should I say me, MAD!  This is mainly why I got my babies involved in modeling/branding to keep them busy!  Start them out young!

I feel like foundation has plentiful meaning and felt the need to share. I have been so busy these days, that I often forget to simply just sit and smell the roses.
